Celebrating its 14th season as a full-service booking agency, AMA’s mission is to provide exemplary service to both our presenting clients as well as to the diverse roster of talent that we represent. We highly value these relationships and strive to operate with integrity, superior communication and meticulous attention to detail. Eric and Joy were married in February of 2012, have relocated to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico effective July 2015 and between them, have 5 children (mostly grown), 4 dogs, a bird and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean in their backyard!

Originally hailing from Philadelphia, Eric was raised in a family of professional classical musicians.  Prior to founding AMA in 2003, Eric was a VP/Artist Representative at Columbia Artists Management (CAMI) between 1988-2002.  With over 30 years of industry experience, and over 5000 contracts authored at an estimated value in excess of $100,000,000, Eric still looks forward to coming to work every day!

Joy originally and proudly hails from North Carolina and comes to AMA with an extensive background in the world of theatre having worked as a Box Office Manager, Marketing Director and Presenter over the span of 13 years. Joy is happily on board as both partner and Vice President of Operations here at Arts Management Associates and takes care of all the marketing, contracts administration and accounting.

Kevin Peters joined AMA as an artist representative in January 2014.  Kevin is also the manager and exclusive agent for the Dallas Brass.  A trained conductor and trombonist, Kevin graduated with his Master’s Degree in Instrumental Conducting at Ithaca College and is now Artistic Director of the Red Cedar Symphony and will be guest conducting the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra this season.

Kevin previously spent six years as director of bands at Xavier High School in Appleton, Wisconsin and one year as a music teacher in Ithaca, NY.  He and his family now reside near St. Paul, MN.
