THE JERUSALEM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA will return in MARCH 2019 (2018-2019 Season) as part of year-long festivities marking the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel (read more).

The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (JSO) was founded in 1936 as the Palestine Broadcasting Service Orchestra.  In the 1970s, the orchestra was expanded into the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Broadcasting Authority. As a radio symphony orchestra, the majority of its concerts are held at the Henry Crown Auditorium, and recorded for broadcast throughout Israel. The JSO often tours in Europe and in the United States, and has performed in many of the most prestigious venues in major cities around the globe.
